Shail, Edith Elaine passed away on Friday, August 17, 2007 at the Cypress Regional Hospital, Swift Current, SK at the age of 57 years. Edith was born on April 22, 1950 at Swift Current, SK to Emil & Tina Polsfut. She took her schooling at Oman School. On November 5, 1966, Edith and James (Jim) Jarvis Shail were united in marriage in Swift Current. This union was blessed with a daughter, Sherry. Edith enjoyed gardening and music. She loved to fly and to dance. She also enjoyed playing the guitar and the accordion. She was a Plumbing Assistant/Partner with her husband. Edith leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 40 years, James (Jim) Shail; her daughter, Sherry (Brian) Essington of Armstrong, BC; her mother, Tina Polsfut; her brothers, Gary (Pauline) Polsfut and Norman (Judy) Polsfut; her sister, Debbie (Steven) Moen; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Emil Polsfut, on January 26, 2002. The Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 2:00 pm from the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Swift Current, SK with Fr. Felipe Faustino officiating.
