Scott, Clarence Chester, age 94, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at the Gull Lake Special Care Centre, Gull Lake, SK. Clarence was born on November 7, 1912, in the Skull Lake District, to Ira & Mina Scott. Clarence married Sybil Churchill on May 5, 1952 at Gull Lake, SK. Clarence is survived by a sister-in-law, Doris Dakin of Calgary, AB; and by his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Sybil; his parents, Ira & Mina Scott; his brothers, Walter Scott and Merton Scott; his sisters, Cora Devine and Ruth Anderson; a sister-in-law, Jean Scott; and by brothers-in-law, Melvin Anderson and Milton Devine. A Memorial Service was held on Monday, September 24, 2007 at 2:00 pm from the Tompkins Community Centre, Tompkins, SK with Rev. Bev Diduck officiating. The pianist for the service was Nora Rudolph. “Abide With Me”, “The Lord’s My Shepherd” and “Precious Lord, Take My Hand” were sung by the congregation. The Interment was held at the Tompkins Cemetery, Tompkins, SK. In memory of Mr. Clarence Scott, donations made to the Gull Lake Special Care Centre or to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements were in care of Swift Current Funeral Home, Swift Current, SK.
