Margaret Wiebe, loving wife of Abe J. Wiebe, passed away peacefully, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 7:15 am (with her daughter-in-law, Betty Wiebe, by her side), at the Cypress Regional Hospital, Swift Current, SK at the age of 75 years, 10 months and 7 days.
Margaret was born on March 10, 1932 in Rosenort, SK. She grew up in the McMahon district and in 1951, was baptized at the Sommerfeld Church in Rosenhof and was always faithful to her church.
Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 51 years, Abe J. Wiebe; her 2 daughters and 3 sons, Brenda (Wayne) Moss, Ron (Betty) Wiebe, Sandra (Bill) Davis, Stacey (Shannon) Wiebe, Terry Wiebe; her 10 grandchildren, Tanya & Scott, Melissa, Krystal, TJ & Colton, Landon & Carson, and Ashley & Andrew. She is also survived by a sister, Anna Krahn; brothers, Ben Dyck, John Dyck and Abe Dyck; brothers & sisters-in-law, Dave & Margaret Wiebe, Tina Krahn, Harry & Susan Wiebe, Agnes Wiebe, Mary Wiebe, Sally Wiebe and Tina Wiebe; and by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Isaac & Anna Dyck; a sister, Mary Friesen; brothers, Jacob Dyck, Isaac Dyck and Henry Dyck.
The Funeral Service was held on Monday, January 21, 2008 at 1:30 pm from the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church, Schoenfeld, SK with Rev. Abe Funk officiating. The Interment was held at the Rosenhof Cemetery, Rosenhof, SK with the following serving as pallbearers, Ron Wiebe, Stacey Wiebe, Terry Wiebe, Bill Davis, Wayne Moss and Scott Moss. Funeral arrangements were in care of Swift Current Funeral Home, Swift Current, SK. |
