Kennerley, Marjorie Mae passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at the Cypress Regional Hospital, Swift Current, SK. Her father, Tom Kennerley, predeceased her January 3rd 1985. Marjorie is survived by her mother, Vernetta Griffith, Moose Jaw, SK; one brother, Allen (Joan) Kennerley Mortlach, SK; three sisters, Ester (Bud) Richards, Outlook, SK, Patricia (Lloyd) Keller, Prince Albert, SK, Shirley (Ron) Cassidy, Gloucester, ONT; four sons, Jasen (Shawnee), granddaughter, Alora Hoffman, Calgary, AB: Robert (Devona), grandson, Trevor Moore Brooks, AB: Kelly (Kathy), granddaughters, Nicole, Kara, Shelby Moore, St. Albert, AB: Edward "Ted" Moore (partner Stacy Butterfield) Calgary, AB; also survived by Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. A thank you goes out to the many friends and health care workers that helped Marj during her illness. Anyone wishing, donation in Marj's memory, may be made to the Saskatchewan Lung Association or to the First United Church. The family thanks you. The Funeral Service was held on Monday, March 10, 2008 at 2:00 pm from the First United Church, Swift Current, SK with Ministerial Staff Associate Christine Ciona officiating. The organist for the service was Marilyn King. Scripture was read from Deuteronomy 33:26-27, John 14:1-6 and Ecclesiastes 3:1-7. “Precious Lord, Take My Hand” and “I’ll Fly Away” were sung by the congregation. The eulogy of Marj, was shared by her brother, Allan Kennerley. The Interment Service preceded the Funeral Service and was held at the Mount Pleasant Burial Park, Swift Current, SK. Funeral arrangements were in care of Swift Current Funeral Home, Swift Current, SK.
