Margaret Gertrude Dyck, age 70 years, of HeritageTowers, Swift Current, SK, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2009, at her home.
Margaret was born on April 19, 1939, to Jacob and Maria Dyck, west of Wymark. She was the youngest member of a family of 8. Margaret attended RhinelandSchool through grade 8 and later on attended the SwiftCurrentBibleSchool. She first started working at the Laundry Mat on Railway Street. Later on she worked at the Horse Shoe Lodge. Margaret loved the Lord.
Margaret was predeceased by her brothers, John Dyck on April 20, 2005, and Ben Dyck on July 8, 2006; and by a sister, Mary Dyck, at the age of 2. Margaret is survived by her siblings, Jake (Katie) Dyck, Tina (John) Krahn, Marie Dyck, Pete (Clara) Dyck; sisters-in-law, Margaret Dyck and Nellie Dyck; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service was held on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 2:00 pm from the Salvation Army Church, Swift Current, SK. The life history of Margaret was read by Edith Downey. Nellie Dyck and Margaret Dyck (sisters-in-law) led the congregational Hymns, singing “In the Sweet By and By” and “Amazing Grace” The Interment Service was held at the RosenhofCemetery, Rosenhof, SK. In memory of Margaret Dyck, donations made to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements were in care of Swift Current Funeral Home, Swift Current, SK. |
