Juliann Gawryliuk, beloved wife of Steve Gawryliuk passed away at the Cypress Regional Hospital, Swift Current, SK, on Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Julie was born on June 7, 1944, in Winnipeg, MB. Julie married Steve Gawryliuk on June 25, 1988, in the Andrew district. She was a huge community supporter and was always willing to contribute in any way she could, she was very big hearted. Julie was secretary for the Success Senior’s Club and also a Hall Board member. Julie loved many hobbies, including cross stitch, ceramics, sewing and embroidery. “Whatever she did was in a big way and if she couldn’t do that it was no way.”

Julie was predeceased by her father, John in 2004; her brother, Ed in 2002: and by an infant brother John. Julie is survived by her husband, Steve Gawryliuk of Success, SK; her sons, Les (Joy) Keena of Winnipeg, MB, Norman (Dawn) Keena of Winnipeg, MB; her daughters, Christine Jenkins of Winnipeg, MB and Karen Martin of Edmonton, AB; her 10 Grandchildren; her 3 Great-grandchildren; her mother, Anne Kroeker of Brandon, MB; Her brothers, John (Irene) Kroeker of Success, SK, Richard (Olga) Kroeker of Rush Lake, SK, Dave (Colleen) Kroeker of Winnipeg, MB; her sisters, Ev (Frank) Oman, Edmonton, AB, Carol (Tim) Urbanski of Winnipeg, MB; and by many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Luncheon was held on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 2: 00 pm from the Success Community Hall. The Eulogy was given by Marvin Auseth. The ushers were Darrel & Donna Butler. The honorary pallbearers were Douglas Gawryliuk, Dean Gawryliuk, Dwayne Gawryliuk, Les Keena, Norman Keena. Swift Current Funeral Home was in care of arrangements.
