Alida Staats

Alida Cornelia Staats, age 92, of Swift Current and formerly of Hodgeville, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2015, at the Prairie Pioneers Lodge, Swift Current, SK. Alida is survived by her three daughters, Elaine (Abe) Harder – their children, Sharie (Doug) Little, Diane Hanson (Sonny Black), Michael (Carrie) Harder, Aaron (Jamie Rae) Harder – their grandchildren, Nathaniel Hanson, Bradley Hanson, Halle Harder, Rogan Harder: Linda (Brian) McCrum – their children, Jamie McCrum (Travis Brown), Carson (Cynthia) McCrum – their grandchildren, Emma McCrum, Jaymes McCrum: Laurie (Leslie) Truitt – their children, Luke (Destiny) Truitt, Cristy (Kienan) Kuntz – their grandchildren, Eli Truitt, Kenzie Truitt; her son, Lloyd Staats (Remedios Mills) – their children, Cara (Chris) King, Geniene (Scott) Langel, Elia, Rey Mills, Jonathan Mills; a sister, Renda; and by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Oscar; her brother, Harry; and by her sisters, Nancy and Gertrude.

A Memorial Service, to honor Alida Staats, was held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 1:00 pm from the Hodgeville Community Centre, Hodgeville, SK with Abe Harder officiating. For those wishing, donations to the Hodgeville Museum or to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family
