Barbara Hart

Barbara Ellen Hart was born on July 18, 1940 to John & Gladys Davis in Rosetown, SK. Barbara married Maurice Hart in 1955 and together, they raised seven children.

Barbara is survived by her children, Marion Van-Ochten (Calgary, AB), David (Donna) Hart (Waldeck, SK), Loretta (Curtis) Neustaeter (Swift Current, SK), Eleanor (Ernest) Moccasin (North Battleford, SK), Russell (Shelly) Hart (Swift Current, SK), and Melody Bingham (Swift Current, SK); her nineteen grandchildren; her nineteen great-grandchildren; her nineteen great-great-grandchildren; her sisters, Faye (British Columbia) and Shirley (Irvin, AB); her brothers, Lloyd (Medicine Hat, AB), Brian (Medicine Hat, AB), and Larry (Swift Current, SK); and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Barbara was predeceased by her loving husband, Maurice Hart; her son, John Hart; her granddaughters, Rhonda, Shanon, and Charlotte; her grandson, Dennis; her parents, John & Gladys Davis; her sisters, Patricia, Joyce, and Darlene; and by her brother, Jerry.

The Funeral Service for Barbara Hart was held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 2:00 pm from the Salvation Army Church, Maple Creek, SK with Major Ed Dean officiating. “One Day at a Time” was sung by the congregation, with Ross & Clair Pollock serving as musicians. A photo tribute was given by the family. The eulogy was given by Billy-Joe Star. The ushers in the church were Steven Hart and Tomias Sakebow. The service was recorded and can be viewed here

The Interment Service was held immediately following the Funeral Service from the Maple Creek Cemetery, Maple Creek, SK with Clayton Nahbexie, Ross Hart, Dustin Kunka, P.J. Sakebow, August Nahbexie, Ethan Dussalt, Darion Starr, and Greysin Nahbexie serving as Pallbearers. The Honorary Pallbearers were Tyler Peters, Christopher Hart, Nathan Hart, Dakota Hart, John Kunka, Riley Dingman, and James Bingham
