WALL, Bill (Wilhelm) age 82, walked into the arms of his Savior and Redeemer on Thursday, Aug 13, 2015, at the Cypress Regional Hospital. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn; his daughters, Audrey, Wanda (Glen) Weinknecht; his step-sons, Deon (Suzanne) and Andre; grandchildren, Dana (Cassandra), Melissa (Ryan), Tiffany, Chuck (Carmen), Matt, Kathryn, Rebekkah and Kennedy; and seven great- grandchildren; his sisters, Tina Wiebe, Liz Dyck, Helen Dyck; his brother, John Wall; and by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Henry & Maria Wall; his father & mother-in-law, Reginald & Kay Glen; an infant daughter, Susan; his brothers, Henry, Jake, Abe, Herman; and by his sisters, Eva, Anne, Agnes, Margaret and Mary. Bill was born on March 3, 1933, on the family farm south of Swift Current the tenth child of Henry & Maria Wall. He attended Peal School until grade 8 but in later years he got his GED Gr. 12. This gave him the opportunity to get his Journeyman Mechanic papers and later on in 1980, his Inter Provincial Heavy Duty journeyman ticket. Bill worked at the Purity 99 Service Station, at Standard Motors, the Swift
Current Research Station and finally in 1983, he went to work for the Department of Highways from where he retired in 1997.
The Funeral Service for Mr. Bill Wall of Swift Current will take place on Wednesday, August 19 at 2:00 p.m., from the Bridgeway Community Church in Swift Current with Pastor Bob Cappelle officiating.
The Interment Service for Mr. Bill Wall will precede the funeral service and take place at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Swift Current on Wednesday, August 19 at 10:45 a.m.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so Tuesday at 8:00 pm from the Swift Current Funeral Chapel.
In honor of Bill, donations to the Westbank Bible Camp would be appreciated by the family.
