Dianne Hilmoe, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Clover House, Swift Current, SK. Dianne Elaine Hilmoe was born January 12, 1950 to Harold & Florence Linder in Prelate, SK. She attended the Abby school and after completing her education, took a CAA course through SIAST.
She worked hard throughout her lifetime in a variety of positions including helping manage the Cabri Regional Park for 15 years and working as a school custodian for the Cabri school for 10 years before retiring. Dianne loved talking to people and especially enjoyed visiting with the students at school, and the campers at the park.
Dianne met Wayne Oscar Hilmoe and they were married on August 15, 1991 in Swift Current.
Dianne raised three children — Roberta, Janette, and Trevor. They made many memories having fish fries at the park, camping in the summers, and sitting around the kitchen table, having coffee and sharing stories.
Dianne had a soft spot in her heart for animals, especially her dogs — Maggie Mae, Teacup, Sam, and Trixie Dee. At one point she also had a pet raccoon that she raised from a baby, named Chatter.
She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Dianne is survived by her children, Janette Zebiere (Red Deer, AB) and Trevor (Jolynne) Dick (Shaunavon, SK); her grandchildren, Robert Brown, Jordan Dick, Kyle Dick, Griffin Dick, Reese Dick, Riley Dick, Zoe Zebiere Malenfant, Selena Zebiere Malenfant, and Saryn Jacques; her great-grandchildren, Brynlee Brown and Brooklyn Brown; and by her sisters, Marian Mastel, Judy (Bob) McLaren, Holly Linder, and Melody Lamont.
Dianne was predeceased by her daughter, Roberta Brown; and by her husband, Wayne Hilmoe.
