Welcome to the memorial page for

Eva Hildebrandt

January 14, 2016

Eva Hildebrandt, age 88, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current, SK. Eva was born on November 7, 1927, in Swift Current, SK to Peter & Elizabeth Hildebrandt. Being the oldest of ten children, she had a big responsibility helping with her siblings and the housework. Eva attended the Montford School. Her faith was also very important to her, she was a member of the Wymark EMC Church where she was baptized. Eva and her brother, Isaac, lived on the farm and cared for their Mother until her passing in 1993. Eva enjoyed gardening, helping on the farm, and sewing. She was an excellent cook, baker, and an immaculate housekeeper. She enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with nieces and nephews. She also loved to sing, and listen to music and Christian programs. Five years ago she moved to the Palliser Care Center in Swift Current where she received loving care. She enjoyed the Bible Studies and the programs there. Although the transition was not easy, she made many friends and was an encouragement to others. The way she lived her life was her testimony. Eva is survived by her sisters, Helen Wieler and Justina (George) Antal; her brothers, Jake (Betty) Hildebrandt, John (Joyce) Hildebrandt and Isaac Hildebrandt; her sisters-in-law, Tiena Hildebrandt and Mary (Hildebrandt) Martens; her brother-in-law, Fred Bennett; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
