Glen Ferguson

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Glen Ferguson – our Dad, Grandpa, and Great-grandpa. Glen, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the Herbert & District Integrated Health Facility with his family by his side. Glen was born on August 8, 1936 in Morse, SK to Martin & Doris Ferguson. Dad was always a hard worker and a very practical man. He worked on the farm for many years, then had his own trucking business, and then became the Morse Town Foreman until he retired. In his retirement he loved to help out the local farmers in the spring, fall harvest, and in winter helping with the livestock. His strong, dedicated work ethic will live on through his kids and grandkids. As a family, we are so thankful for the loving care and support that Dad received from Dr. Kassett, Carla and her Home Care team, and the Nursing staff at the Herbert Hospital. The family finds peace in knowing that Mom & Dad are together again. Glen was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Margaret; his parents, Martin & Doris Ferguson; his siblings, Lloyd, Bud, Duke, Grace (Paul), Lois; and by his brother-in-law, Jim. He is survived by his children, Audrey (Tim), Janie, Marty (Trina), and Tammy (Jim); his eight grandchildren; his six great-grandchildren; his sisters, Florence and Shirley; and by his best friend, Biscuit.

At Glen’s request, a Private Family Graveside Service will be held at a later date at the Memory Lane Cemetery, Morse, SK. In memory of Glen Ferguson, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
