Jacob Heinrichs Obituary

Jacob Heinrichs, age 71, went to his heavenly home on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the Meadows – House 12, Swift Current, SK. Jacob George Heinrichs was born on December 29, 1951 to Abraham & Margaretha Heinrichs in Vanguard, SK. He grew up on a farm and attended school in Neville, SK.

After completing high school, Jacob started his 39-year career as a Partsman. Jacob loved his job as he had a knack for numbers and it showed through the appreciation and respect from his customers. Jacob also loved old vehicles and restored his dad’s 1950 GMC truck. He enjoyed yard work, doing repairs, and working on his home. Jacob was very sociable and was always willing to give a helping hand.

Jacob was predeceased by his parents, Abraham & Margaretha Heinrichs; his father-in-law, Alvin Siemens; his brother-in-law, Lynn Koehler; his niece, Judy Heinrichs; and by his sister-in-law, Mary Antonenko.

Jacob is survived by his loving wife, Theresa Heinrichs (nee Siemens); his son, Jay (Kathryn) Heinrichs (Justyna and Samantha); his daughter, Erin Heinrichs; his grandpuppies, Otto, Genie, Ginger, and Teddie; his brothers, John (Julie) Heinrichs, Harvey (Lynn) Heinrichs, and Peter (Lydia) Heinrichs; his sister, Maryann (Richard) Neudorf; and by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and friends.

Jacob’s family would like to thank Dr. R. Ibrahim and all the staff in House 12 at the Meadows for all their care and kindness to Jacob over the years.
