May Campbell, age 81, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. May was born on July 5, 1934 in Belfast, North Ireland to David & Rebecca Campbell. May lived her life in service to God and others. She had a passion for Christ and His kingdom and a great compassion for her fellow man. May lived life joyously and simply, living her faith day by day sharing God’s love and the gift of salvation. Her suffering is over and now she is at peace with Jesus where she always wanted to be, her true home. May was predeceased by her parents, Rebecca & David Campbell, of Belfast, North Ireland. She is survived, loved and missed by her sisters, Anne (Reg) of Glasgow, Scotland, Sally (Billy) of Moira, North Ireland, Jean (Bill) of Calgary, Alberta; Laura, her cherished and loving friend of Swift Current, Saskatchewan; numerous Nieces, Nephews, Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews in the United Kingdom and Canada; and by the Sutter family of Saskatchewan and Calgary, Alberta.

The Funeral Service was held on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at 2:00 pm from the Trailview Alliance Church, Swift Current, SK with Pastor Blair Froese officiating. The pianist for the service was Marilyn Ginther. “The King of Love My Shepherd Is” and “It Is Well with My Soul” were sung by the congregation. Special music was provided by Henry Hildebrandt, Dwayne Klassen and John Regier and by a violin solo by Linda Klippenstein. Tributes were shared by Pastor Blair Froese and Jayne Townsley. The ushers in the church were Gary & Marion Wiebe. The Interment Service preceded the Funeral Service and was held at the Memory Gardens Cemetery, Swift Current, SK. In memory of May Campbell, donations made to the Gideons International would be appreciated by the family.
