Welcome to the memorial page for

Rose Lang

July 14, 2016

Rose is survived by her husband, Peter; her son, Tom (Donna) Lang; her daughters, Dianne Lang and Sharon Lang; her grandchildren, Marnie Beaver, Kevin (Michelle) Lang, Krista (Todd) Trudeau, David Farmer and Michael Farmer; her ten great-grandchildren; and by one sister, Adeline ~~Imeson of Kenora, ON. Rose was born on the farm near Fox Valley, SK, the second youngest of 8 children. They moved to Wilkie, SK when Rose was 3 or 4 years old. She met Peter Lang when she was sixteen years old and was eighteen when they were married on July 17, 1944. They had three children and her family was very important to her. Rose was a dedicated wife and mother. She was very fussy and kept a sparkling house. She also loved to cook and bake, and a lot of family were recipients of those goodies. Rose loved playing cards, going camping, travelling to polka festivals and listening to music. She was always ready to go to the casino and was lucky at the slots. Rose lived 90 wonderful years and she will be missed dearly by her family and all who knew her. The Celebration of Life Service was held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Swift Current Funeral Home with Celebrant Deborah Folk officiating. A Private Family Interment Service will be held at a later date. The Family gratefully requests no Floral Gifts. However, gifts to The Alzheimer's Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
