Toni Beauchamp

Toni Beauchamp (nee St. Jean), age 86, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the Cypress Regional Hospital, Swift Current, SK. Antoinette Germaine (St. Jean) Beauchamp — known to family and friends as Toni — was born on June 27, 1930 to Adelard & Albina St. Jean in Val Marie, SK. She grew up and attended school in Val Marie. Toni married John Honore Beauchamp on October 17,1950. They moved to Frenchville, SK where they began farming and raised their ten children. Toni lived on the family farm until John’s passing in 1978, then moved to Saskatoon. Toni enjoyed playing cards, gardening, and socializing with family and friends with a glass of wine. You could always expect a smile on her face and most likely a hot meal in the oven when you arrived at her door. Toni's chocolate and maple fudge were legendary, everyone loved them both. She was always very welcoming and never turned anyone away. She lovingly tended and took great pride in her garden. Toni was a fantastic dancer, she could dance for hours and never get tired. She remained in Saskatoon until her health began to fail and she was no longer able to live on her own. She moved to the Revera Retirement Home in Swift Current, where she lived until her passing. Toni is survived by her children, Diane (Cliff), Rita (Garnet), Anita (Dale), Julien (Norma), Germaine (Ron), Vivian (Nils); her sixteen grandchildren, Tammy, Sheldon, Sherry, Beverly, Chris, Keith, Trevor, Jacqueline, Travis, Gregory, Jordan, Jayda, Amber, John, Wynona, and Rebecca; her twenty-one great-grandchildren, Blake, Thomas, Emily, Benjamin, Jasmine, Haley, Kyle, Chelsie, Mikayla, Josh, Shyla, Emerson, Eden, Levi, Mya, Karlee, Lucas, Shaye-Lynne, Jayden, Sydney, and Janay; her two great-great-grandchildren, Brantley and Paisley; and by her son-in-law, Gary. Toni was predeceased by her husband, John; her children, Claude, Marcel, Lucien, and Janine; her parents, Adelard & Albina; and by her siblings, Albert, Leo, Theresa. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her and loved her.

The Memorial Mass was held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 1:00 pm from Christ the Redeemer Catholic Parish, Swift Current, SK with Rev. Msgnr Reymundo Asis as celebrant. The pianist for the service was Marlene Dolter with Sherman Veitenheimer as Psalmist. The eulogy was shared by Amber Sprague and Trevor Klassen. The ushers were Travis Klassen, Mikayla Becker, Chris Neufeldt and Trevor Klassen. Vivian Thorarinsson served as urn bearer. The Interment will take place on June 27, 2017 at the Frenchville Cemetery, Frenchville, SK. In memory of Toni Beauchamp, donations made to the Dr. Noble Irwin Healthcare Foundation or to the Swift Current SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
