Zachary Wolfe

It is with profound sadness that the family of Zac Wolfe announce his passing on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at the age of 35 in a tragic accident.

Zac is survived by his children, Zerek and Viennley, whom he loved dearly and was immensely proud of. Also left to mourn are his parents, Tim and Laura-Jean; his siblings, Jay, Keegan, and Chelsea (Scott) Michaud and their families; and by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Zac was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Jake & Mary Wolfe; his maternal grandparents, Lavern & Sylvia Lizee; and by his uncles Raymond Wolfe and Larry Lizee.

Zachary Taggart Wolfe was born on August 4, 1988 at the Swift Current Union Hospital, Swift Current, SK. He attended French Immersion School in Swift Current for the first few years of his education, then continued from grade three and on at Ecole Henry Kelsey in Saskatoon, SK. He completed his high school years at the Swift Current Comprehensive High School, graduating in 2006 with a bilingual mention.

Zac had various occupations throughout his working years and was successful at each of them, though he never found his true passion. He was an avid reader and a collector of knowledge. He had a wide variety of interests and enjoyed music festivals, playing guitar, Tae Kwon Do, his classic car, "Paula," and most recently, his Harley Davidson, on which he said he truly felt free.

Zac explored spirituality and pondered the nature of our universe. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and will be remembered fondly for his larger-than-life personality.

In memory of Zachary Wolfe and for those wishing, a trust fund for Zachary’s children -Zerek and Viennley Wolfe – has been set up at Innovation Credit Union. Memorial donations made to the trust fund would be appreciated by the family.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the Legion Hall in Swift Current, SK at 2:00pm.
