Bryan Tallon

Bryan Tallon, age 71, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Clover House, Swift Current, SK.

Bryan will be forever cherished by his wife of fifty years, Carole Tallon; his children, Trent Tallon and Chad (Paula) Tallon; his grandchildren, Sara and Tyler Tallon; his brothers, Morley (Linda) Tallon, Keith (Cheryl) Tallon, and Doug (Pam) Tallon; his brothers-in law, Melvyn Headrick and Bud Headrick; and by his many nieces, nephews, and friends. Bryan was predeceased by his parents, Orville & Eleanor Tallon.

Bryan Russell Tallon was born September 19, 1947 and raised on his family’s farm in Lafleche, SK. His parents taught him at a young age that anything worth doing should be done to your best ability — a philosophy he practiced throughout his life. After graduating from high school, Bryan attended university and received his Bachelor of Education followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Administration from the University of Regina, followed by a Master of Education degree from the University of Saskatchewan. These degrees were stepping-stones to the successful career Bryan pursued as a life-long educator.

Bryan was equally committed to his marriage, family and friends.  He was kind, understanding, forgiving, and loved unconditionally — traits admired by many.  Bryan’s family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses who cared for him over the past year.

The Celebration of Life for Bryan Tallon was held on Friday, September 13, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the Innovation Credit Union iPlex, Swift Current, SK with Rev. Annette Taylor officiating. The eulogy was given by Lee Cummins and Steve Small. Tributes were given by Max Morin and Sharon Copot.

The Private Family Inurnment Service was held prior to the Celebration of Life from Hillcrest Cemetery, Swift Current, SK.
