Marlene and I received news of Elsie's passing while on vacation in B.C.
The family should be assured that Elsie was a true professional and respected friend when she and I worked as colleagues for Saskatoon {West} School Div.She made a major impact on the lives of children in our schools and her attitude in all respects contributed to the then healthy culture of Saskatoon {West}.As Director of Education I was truly blessed to have her on our team!

I so enjoyed this dear sweet lady. Even as her memory declined, she still always had a smile and a big hug. I enjoyed our chat sessions in my office in the early morning where we would have a cup of coffee and she would eat my orange. When I heard of her passing, it was bittersweet - saddened that she is no longer with us, but excited and joyful to know that her troubles are behind her and she is rejoicing with her Lord and Savior on streets of gold in heaven. So long Elsie! See you in heaven when it is my turn to join you there.
