Margaret Fuller

January 10, 2018

Margaret Fuller, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the Cypress Regional Hospital, Swift Current, SK. Margaret Agnes Fuller was born May 29, 1929 in Tuberose, SK — one of five children born to Donald & Viola (Olmstead) Ferguson. Upon high school graduation, Margaret completed her teacher’s training and taught for three years. On December 24, 1949 Margaret married Ronald Gerald Fuller in Swift Current. Ronald was the elevator manager for Pioneer Grain, and they also farmed. Margaret’s days were never dull as a home maker and farm wife. Along with raising eight children, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, and collecting stamps. In her later years, she was able to do some traveling. Margaret especially loved genealogy, and was a member of the Swift Current Genealogy Society. She was also active in her church, and had been a member of the U.C.W. since 1994. Margaret lived a full and active life right up until she entered the hospital on January 7, 2018.
