Anna Dyck, age 87, made her final move to be with her Lord Jesus and Savior on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at the Riverview Village Estates, Swift Current, SK. Anna Dyck was born on July 6, 1937, in Springfeldt SK to Jacob & Helena Wiebe. She went to Amphion school to grade 8, and then helped her parents at home. On May 25, 1958, Anna was baptized in the Sommerfeld Church by Bishop David Wall. Anna Wiebe and Henry Dyck were married on October 24, 1959 in Rhineland Church, Rhineland, SK and this union was blessed with 7 children. They built a house in Rosenhof, SK and in October 1985 they moved to Swift Current, but continued farming at Rosenhof until Henry’s passing. After Henry’s passing, Anna moved multiple times within Swift Current. In December 2008 she moved to LaCrete, AB to be closer to her aging Mother, and her sister, also moving several times while living there. November 2016, saw Anna moving back to Swift Current, and again moving numerous times within Swift Current. Anna’s family would often tease her that they needed all of their fingers and some toes to count all her many moves. Anna was predeceased by her husband, Henry; her son, Randall Dyck; her parents, Jacob & Helena Wiebe; her parents-in-law, Peter & Helen Dyck; her brothers, Robert Wiebe and John Wiebe; her sister, Helen Schlamp; brothers-in-law, Jake Schlamp, Abe Braun, Dave Schlamp, Abe Dyck, John Dick; and by sisters-in-law, Barb Wiebe, Tina Dyck, and Annie Ginter. Anna is survived by her family, her daughter, Lorna (Bob) Barrie – children, Scott & Geordie; her daughter-in-law, Sandy Dyck – children, Heather & Kurtis and families; her daughter, Grace (Jim) Smith; her daughter, Darla (Kelly) Cassidy – children, Jamie & Ashley and families; her son, Bob (Marilyn) Dyck – children, Alicia, Danielle & Justin and families; her son, Steven (Shauna) Dyck – their daughter, Arianna; her daughter, Sandra Dyck; great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter; a sister Tina; her brothers, Jake (Vera) Wiebe, Harry (Susan) Wiebe; brothers-in-law, Pete (Elaine) Dyck, Dave (Carol) Dyck, Jake (Lucy) Dyck, Jake Ginter; sisters-in-law, Helen Dick, Marge Schlamp, Susan Dyck, Hilda Dyck; and by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
