Carol Priebe

Carol Priebe, age 57 passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the Herbert & District Integrated Healthcare Facility, Herbert, SK.

Carol Rose Priebe was born April 29, 1962 to Diedrich & Beulah Penner in Central Butte, SK. She received her elementary and high school education at the Morse School in Morse, SK and worked as a special care aide at the Herbert Nursing Home. She married her soul mate and the love of her life, Glenn Priebe, on July 12, 1980 at the Free Church in Herbert. Together, they raised three children — Jennifer, Justin, and Lindsay.

She loved making memories with her family and they enjoyed many family trips to Mexico, Carol & Glenn also went on solo trips to Mexico. Carol loved to sew, cross stitch, read, garden, and fish. She was a loving wife, mom, grandma, sister, auntie, and friend who will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Carol is lovingly remembered by her husband of 39 years, Glenn Priebe; her children, Jennifer (Oscar) Larios (Calgary, AB), Justin (Nancy) Priebe (Hodgeville, SK), and Lindsay (Donia Lazar) Priebe (Carbon, AB); her grandchildren, Logan and Amalia Young, Ember and Caius Priebe, and Jazmyne and Jett Lazar-Priebe; her siblings, Dwayne (Trisha) Penner, Arnold (Dorothy) Penner, Linda (Lawrence) Remple, and Maxine (Scott) Gammel; and by her many nieces and nephews.

The Private Graveside Service for Carol Priebe was held on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from Gnadenau Mennonite Brethren Cemetery in the Flowing Well District, SK with Pastor Dion M. Grimm officiating. Justin Priebe, Lindsay Priebe, Oscar Larios, Brody Remple, Chad Remple, Aaron Nixon, Darrel Priebe, and Clair Priebe served as Pallbearers.
