With heavy hearts, we must say that Cheryl Huber, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at approximately 11:00 a.m. Her children were gathered by her bedside during her passing, listening to her favorite music, “The Sound of Music”.
Cheryl Jean Huber was born on September 23, 1960, in Moose Jaw, SK to John & Gwendolyn Huber, the firstborn of three girls. Growing up, she enjoyed playing sports, art, music, and dancing. Cheryl was a great bowler and in her earlier years she often played competitively. Eventually, her children became her focus, and she turned to her love of living on the farm, where she spent time in the flower beds, gardening, and with the animals, while playing her music as loud as it would go. But nothing compared to the joy Cheryl had spending time with her family. As the years went on, Cheryl moved into the service industry, where Swift Current grew to know her smile. A smile that radiated so big you couldn't help but catch it. ‘Grandma Cheryl’ came sooner than later, and she sure made it look good on her, and the Grandchildren made that smile so much brighter, five times over.
Cheryl will be deeply missed by her children, Ryan, Crystal and Darla; her grandchildren, Taylor, Jackson, Colin, Loic and Charles; and by all her extended relatives.
As per Cheryl’s request no funeral will be held. A celebration of life will be Held at a future date. I lieu of flowers donations can be made In Moms memory to Ronald McDonald House Miles to go campaign. Children were always a soft spot for Mom and sick kids especially touched her. A place for families to be together and heal is a legacy she would love to have. Thank you to everyone for all the love and support through this journey.
Mama
Thank you for all that you knew,
For all three children you grew.
Each one is so different than the next,
Each one has something special that you blessed.
Our hearts forever entwined,
With our family and cousins, you bind.
You showed us all that you know,
And now it's time for that love to grow.
– Forever missed and cherished by your family
