Cody Maluga

The Celebration of Life Service for Cody Maluga of Swift Current, SK will take place on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 2:30 p.m. at the Eastside Church of God with Pastor Kevin Snyder officiating.

Cody Maluga, age 26, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2016 at the Cypress Regional Hospital, Swift Current, SK.

Cody Willis Maluga was born on June 1, 1999 at Yorkton, SK to Raylene Maluga and Colin Knee.

Cody enjoyed quality of life, participated in vocational training and saskabilities.

He started his own business “Cody and Cookies – paper shredding” and was self employed from September 2025 until his passing.

Cody was a blessing to numerous people.

He loved hugging, fist pounds, and offering the biggest squeeze.

Cody also enjoyed a variety of interests, dolphins, homeless cats, swimming, spas, the treadmill, reading, turtles, the library, volunteering, anything purple, supermarket sweep, Young and the Restless show, meeting his mom’s friends for Chinese food, coffee at Tims, new restaurants, and new experiences.

Cody is survived by his mom, Raylene Maluga; his best friend, Harold (Sue); his best buddy, Bill Wiebe; his loving friend, Melanie Exner; his great aunts, Arlene Giest, Shirley Rotinsky, and Nancy Maluga; his Granny Stone; Uncle Duane Maluga, Wayne & Shirley Ward and family, Uncle Glenn Maluga and family, Uncle Keith Maluga and family, Chanesty and family, Destiny and Nick and Wilber, Grant Maluga, his Dad - Colin Knee, Gillian Hollaway, Nan Marie Knee, Kaitlyn Knee, Aunty Pat Nordsveen (Judy), Aunty Addie & Errol, Darla & Dennis Rotinsky cousins, Candie, Cara, Gail, and many friends who are family, Sister Reba, and Sister Muffincup.

He was predeceased by his Granny & Grandpa Maluga; his Pops, Stafford Knee; his Uncle Edwin Rotinsky; and by his Aunties Marie Maluga and Lisa Maluga.
