David Bye

It is with deep sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of David John Bye, age 66, of Swift Current on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

David will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 34 years, Katheryn Bye; their seven children, twelve grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, Carina Bye (Tlakwa’dzi) and her children, Jaden, Isaac, and Emmet, Scott Owens and his children, Everett and Madison, Stephanie Bye, Marsha Riekart (Jeff) and her children, Amber Bye, Christopher Bye (Kim)< Anna Tranthem (James) and their children, Anthoney Tranthem (Connie), Emilie Obertzcz (Mark), Tony Bye (Dawn) and son Mathew, and Randy Bye (Shyla) and their children, Cori and Bailey; his siblings, Dennis Bye, Lyle Bye (Sandy), and Twyla Bye; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

David was predeceased by his parents, Ernest & Thelma Bye.

David enjoyed life with so many interests — he enjoyed spending time with all of his family and taking trips to play poker with all of his friends.

At David’s request, no formal funeral services will be held. A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
