Bud Collier, aged 91, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 29th at The Meadows in Swift Current, SK. Bud is the third child of Harry and Agnes Collier. He was born in Lucky Lake, SK where he grew up on the family farm. In his later teenage years Bud met the love of his life Marceline, later marrying on June 19, 1953 at the age of 21. Together, they began a family, raising two boys, until they eventually settled in Swift Current, SK where Bud worked as a Mechanic/Truck Driver for John Deere. In his free time Bud enjoyed camping with his family, fishing and being a doting grandfather to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bud is survived by his children Neil (Shelley) Collier and Robert (Mary-Lou) Collier; grandchildren Jeanette (Levi) Millington, Kelly (Riley) Bruneau, Robert (Jenny) Collier and Christina (Bogdan) Simion; great grandchildren Elliot and Caleesi Millington, Nora and Arabella Bruneau, Layla and Elias Collier and Teo and Robert Simion.
Bud was predeceased by his wife of 59 years Marceline (Mitchell) Collier; parents Harry and Agnes Collier; brothers Don and Carl Collier; his sisters Elsie Heggie, Betty Morrow and Hilda Romanski.
