Isaac Hildebrandt, age 83, went home to be with his Lord & Saviour on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current, SK.
Isaac was born on July 26, 1940 to Peter & Elizabeth Hildebrandt, the ninth of 10 children. Isaac attended the Montford School, and the Swift Current Bible Institute. He attended the Wymark EMC Church, where he was also baptized. Isaac and his sister, Eva, lived on the farm and cared for their mother until her passing in 1993. Isaac enjoyed farming and took great care of his land. He enjoyed family gatherings and traveling to visit relatives. Even though he was very soft-spoken, he enjoyed the company of others. Due to his failing health, he moved to Cypress House in Swift Current where he made some new friends. Isaac became bolder in his faith and shared it openly with those around him.
Isaac is survived by his sister, Justine Antal; his sisters-in-law, Tiena Hildebrand and Joyce Hildebrandt; as well as by many nephews, nieces, and their families. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter & Elizabeth Hildebrandt; his siblings, Eva Hildebrandt, Peter Hildebrandt, Mary Wieler, Helen Wieler, Henry Hildebrandt, Elizabeth Bennett, Jake Hildebrandt, and John Hildebrandt; numerous brothers & sisters-in-law; and by several nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Cypress House for caring for Isaac these past few years.
