John Wiebe

It is with great sadness that the family of John M Wiebe, age 82, announce his passing away peacefully on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current.

John Melvin Wiebe was born on May 21, 1943 at Swift Current, SK to John & Margaret Wiebe. John was the loving husband of Marion for more than 60 years, and the proud father to Terry (Colleen), Eldon (Shelly), and Corinne (Galen). Nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The time he spent laughing with his brothers, extended family, and many friends will live on in our memories.

At John’s wishes, a Private Family Graveside Celebration will be held at a later date.

In memory of John Wiebe, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
