Lindsay Mueller Obituary

The Memorial Service for Lindsay Mueller will be held Saturday March 26, 2022 at 4:00 pm from the Eagles Hall, Swift Current, SK. A short service will start at 4:30 pm with food and drink served after.

In lieu of gifts or flowers and for those wishing, donations made to the Swift Current SPCA in memory of Lindsay Mueller would be appreciated by the family.

The Private Family Interment Service will take place at a later date from Hillcrest Cemetery, Swift Current, SK.

Lindsay Mueller passed away in his home outside Swift Current, SK on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at the age of 64.

Lindsay was predeceased by his first wife, Joy Mueller; his daughter, Charmaine Mueller; and by his parents, John & Norma Mueller. Lindsay is survived by his common-law wife, Nancy Anderson; his daughters, Melissa (Lyle), Marissa (Derek), and Kristie (Martin); his stepchildren, Sheldon (Melissa) and Kelly (Derrick); his grandchildren Dolan, Emmersyn, Eric, Megan, Andrew, Jordan, and Jenna; and by his sister, Michelle (Dan).

Lindsay Corwyn Mueller was born in Medicine Hat, AB on July 23, 1955. Before the family settled in Swift Current, they lived in Duchess, Hanna, and Medicine Hat, AB. Lindsay dedicated his career to working and managing the family business, Swift Current Building Supplies. He became a master in the building supply industry and eventually took over when his father retired.

When he wasn’t working, Lindsay loved cooking, reading, adding to his many collections, and taking on a few random projects, like erecting a helicopter weathervane beside the family acreage. One of his favorite things was traveling in Europe, the USA, South America, and on the East Coast. Lindsay achieved his dream when he purchased a house on the Big Island of Hawaii, where he lived with Nancy during the winter. Lindsay was a loving and supportive father and husband, a good friend, and an astute businessman. He will be remembered for his big personality, sense of humor, generosity, and storytelling abilities. He will be missed by many.
