Logan Taylor Marshall, age 28, passed away Monday, November 28, 2022 in Saskatoon, SK.
Logan was born in North Battleford, SK on November 24, 1994 to Vaughn Marshall & Lynne Akister. He moved with his family to Red Deer, Alberta when he was 6 years old and spent several years there before returning to Saskatchewan to the family farm, which meant so much to him.
As a young man, Logan enjoyed many outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, golfing, snowboarding, paintballing, soccer, and BMX racing. Logan had a love of dogs that began with his first beagle puppy, Cruiser, and especially later on with his pit bulls, Harlem and King.
Logan spent a few years farming with Gerry McCrie at the G.C. McCrie Farms in Kyle, SK. Most recently, he was employed in the construction industry with Contour Development Corporation in Saskatoon, SK.
Logan was a firecracker — from doing donuts on the quad in his underwear, to the words that flew out of his mouth and shocked you to the point of uncontrollable laughter. He had a fantastic sense of humour which often had friends and family laughing to the point of tears.
He loved music, especially rap music, to which few others understood the lyrics. Logan also had a natural ability to know exactly what to say at the right time. He had one of the biggest, kindest hearts and would have done anything for the ones he loved.
Most importantly, Logan was a fighter, especially in his fight with substance misuse. He truly touched people’s hearts and was loved by many whose paths he crossed. He will forever be an inspiration to all who knew him.
Logan was predeceased by his grandparents, George & Doreen Marshall (Kyle, SK), and Donald & Annette Akister (Kyle, SK).
Logan is survived by the love of his life, Kayla Irvine (Saskatoon, SK); his father and stepmom, Vaughn & Crystal Marshall (Kyle, SK); his mother and stepdad, Lynne Akister & Murray Smith (Edmonton, AB); his sister, Karlie Marshall (Toronto, ON); his stepsisters, Taleen Dutchak (Kyle, SK) and Ashley Dutchak (Saskatoon, SK); and by his nephew, Hunter Dutchak (Kyle, SK).
The Private Service for Logan Marshall was held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the White Bear Hotel, White Bear, SK. The Interment Service was held at the White Bear Cemetery. The service card is available to view below.
