Lori Stauber Obituary

Lori Stauber, age 58, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Clover House in Swift Current, SK with her family by her side.

Lori Kim Loustel was born June 20, 1963 in Swift Current to Joe & Faye Loustel. She attended public school at Dickson & Central Schools and attended Beatty Collegiate for middle school and went to high school at the Swift Current Comp.

Lori welcomed her only child, Lyndon Brant on November 19, 1983.

Lori worked at the Husky Restaurant and managed Zellers Restaurant before joining her husband, Clayton, full-time on the family farm. While working at the Husky, she met the love of her life, Clayton Stauber, and they were married July 15, 1987. Lori, Clayton, and Lyndon started their journey in Success, SK and then went on to establish their family farm in 1992.

Lori loved to travel and in 2004, Clayton caught the travel bug. They enjoyed many warm holidays. Lori also loved sports and she attended hockey games in Tampa Bay, Anaheim and Calgary. She loved the Toronto Blue Jays and they took a 30th Anniversary trip to Niagara Falls and took in a Blue Jay game. She was an avid Saskatchewan Roughrider fan and enjoyed going to as many games as she could. Lori was also a Swift Current Broncos season ticket holder. She loved to golf and could be found either working or golfing at the Saskatchewan Landing most days. She loved spending time at her trailer with her lake family.

Lori is survived by her father, Joe Loustel; her sister, Brenda (Bud) Wall; her nephew, Jordan (Mandy) Wall; her niece, Cori (Jeff) Giesbrecht; her great-nephews, Callen and Jace Giesbrecht and Jaxon Wall; her great-niece, Rowan Wall; her father-in-law Ed Stauber; and by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Lori was predeceased by her husband, Clayton; her son, Lyndon; her mother, Faye Loustel; her mother-in-law, Helen Stauber; and by her grandparents, Al & Betty Loustel and Lloyd & Edith Rowan.

Her loss leaves a void in the lives of all who loved her, we find comfort knowing that she is pain free and at peace.
