Melvin Gutscher

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Melvin Lorne Gutscher on Friday, September 30, 2022 at the age of 93 where he was residing at the Cypress Region Facility – the Meadows – in Swift Current, SK.

Melvin was born in Swan Lake, MB in 1929 and married the love of his life, Charlotte Ann Beech, of Pilot Mound, MB in 1953. Melvin worked for White Rose Gasoline, which was eventually bought by Shell Oil of Canada, spanning 35 years.

Melvin was predeceased by his wife, Charlotte Ann Beech, in 2013. Melvin is survived by his daughters, Leslie (Barry) Chuddy of Oakville, ON and Marni (Lorne) Gutscher/Hudec of Swift Current, SK; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Tyler (Charlotte), Paige, and Carsyn; and his great-grandchild, Aeris.
