It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Natalie “Darlene” Heffley, age 69, on Monday, June 26, 2023 at the Cypress Regional Hospital, Swift Current, SK with family by her side.
Natalie Darlene Heffley was born May 23, 1954 to John & Alvina Bender in Herbert, SK. Darlene grew up in the Flowing Well District, SK and attended Zion Lutheran Church. She received her education at the Morse School, Morse, SK.
Darlene married Wayne Heffley on August 17, 1974 and they made their home in Swift Current.
Darlene enjoyed nature, especially her garden and flowers, and watching the phases of the moon and stars. She took great joy in a full moon and enjoyed seeing it most, it would’ve made her happy to know that there is a full moon the day of her funeral.
Darlene was very supportive of Wayne and her church family. She was an incredible resource if you needed the date for birthdays, anniversaries, and other special events.
Natalie Darlene will be truly missed. We would like to thank all those who supported Darlene in her last days.
Darlene was predeceased by her parents, John (1984) & Alvina (2009) Bender; her parents-in-law, Alex (1993) & Olga (1978) Heffley; and by numerous uncles and aunts.
