Paul Martens

Paul Martens, age 65, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024, near Vanguard, SK. Paul Gary Martens was born on April 3, 1959, in Swift Current, SK to Henry & Anne (Penner) Martens, the sixth of ten children. Paul grew up together with his siblings on the family farm southeast of Rosenhof, SK. Paul worked in construction for 40 years with multiple businesses like Harlick’s, Precision, the County of Vermillion River and Bandit until he had his accident in 2006. Paul loved his construction career. It allowed him to master his skills and provide a living for him and Cindy. After 20 years, Paul tied the knot with the love of his life, Cindy, on April 06, 2024, in Neville, SK.  Paul was an extremely gifted man with many skills like cooking, gardening and tinkering with his collection of saws. Paul & Cindy would often go on adventures with their beloved pets to gather fruit from B.C. He loved to travel. Paul cherished his charger and did very well when he entered it in the drag races in Swift Current. Paul leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Cindy; his dog, Little Pepsi - Cola; his cat, Little Momo; his brother, Jack (Marlene); his sisters, Evelyn, Doreen, Grace, Lydia (Harry), Naomi and Lois; his numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and by the many friends he made over the years. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Henry & Anne Martens; his brothers, Mark and Leslie; his dogs, Sam, Cherokee and Fred; and by his cats, Little Pepsi, Sandy and Lindy.
