Peyton Keller Obituary

It is with great sorrow we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Peyton Robert Keller, age 14, on Saturday, September 25, 2021.

Peyton was born February 23, 2007 to Brad & Kathy Keller in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Peyton was 8 lbs 10 ounces and 23 3/4 inches long — Brad couldn’t believe it when he first held him in his arms.

Peyton loved his family so much, always telling his mom how much he loved her and how beautiful she was. Brad was Pey’s #1 fan. He always supported Pey no matter what, but they had a special bond over Pey’s sports. Pey and his older sister, Sadie, were best friends with an undeniable connection. They always had each other's backs.

Peyton’s heart was so warm and kind — he always made it a priority to make everybody feel welcome and special. He loved to spend time with friends playing sports, making TikToks, and playing PS5.

Peyton enjoyed playing all sports, but his love was for baseball and ultimately hockey. Pey attended numerous elite hockey camps this past summer and we knew he would have been successful with his hockey career.

There are so many fond memories of Peyton, from the twinkle in his eye to the way he made everybody smile and laugh. The family appreciates the support and love from everyone and the hockey community.

Peyton is survived by his parents, Brad & Kathy Keller; his sister, Sadie Keller; his grandparents, Bob & Val Keller and Bob & Terri Myles; his Auntie Janelle (Andrew), Uncle Conrad (Kaitlyn), Auntie B (Clayton), and Auntie Les; his cousins, Lena, Jacoby, Riley (Carley), and Tessa (Scott); and by his many friends and teammates.
