Ray Fuller

Raymond “Ray” Fuller, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current, SK.

Raymond John Fuller was born on December 19, 1953 at Lloydminster, SK to Ronald & Margaret Fuller. Ray was raised in Lacadena, SK along with his seven siblings and attended school at Lacadena and at Elrose, SK. After school he worked as an orderly at the Fort Qu’Appelle Hospital. Later, he did painting and furniture refinishing. His hobbies were hockey, baseball, and fishing.

Ray is survived by his brothers, Grant (Lise) Fuller and Wade Fuller; his sisters, Belva (Daryl) Fleck, Gerry (Roy) Hammond, Elaine (Trevor) Youngstrom, Lucille (Don) Braaten, and Brenda (Dale) Sandau; Ray loved being an uncle to his nieces and nephews, Dean Fleck, Bryan Fleck, Ian Fleck, Barbara Hagele, Traci Thomson, Dylan Youngstrom, Rory Youngstrom, Kalli Youngstrom, Eric Braaten, Lana Steiner, Caleb Braaten, Katie Fuller, Dawson Fuller, Amanda Smith, and Riley Sandau.

Ray was predeceased by his parents, Margaret & Ronald Fuller; and by a great-niece, Peyton Thomson.

The Private Family Graveside Service was held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from Memory Gardens Cemetery, Swift Current, SK with Gerry Hammond serving as MC. The eulogy was given by Traci Thomson and prayer was given by Elaine Youngstrom. “Down River Road” by Crystal Gayle was played as special music.

Daryl Fleck, Roy Hammond, Trevor Youngstrom, Don Braaten, Dale Sandau, and Riley Sandau served as Pallbearers.
