Russell Jose

Russ Jose, age 76, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at the Cypress Regional Hospital, Swift Current, SK, surrounded by family and friends.

Russell “Russ” Jacob Jose was born on July 2, 1949 at Swan River, MB. He will be deeply missed by family and friends who will cherish his memory, and were touched by his warmth, humour, and resilience.

Russ was predeceased by his beloved son, Philip; his parents, Jacob & Julaine; his brothers, David and Orland; and by his companion, Alan.

Russ leaves to cherish his memory to his son, Michael (Christie); his siblings and their families; his companion, Tim; as well as extended family and friends.

The family would like to extend thanks to the Hospitals in Regina, Moose Jaw, and Swift Current, as well as Crescent Park Care Home, for the care and compassion Russ received.

A Private Memorial will be held in Regina. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Russ Jose made to any Animal Rescue Organization or to the Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.

We will learn to live with him in the moments. He will be there.
