Zita Vetter

It is with great sadness that the family of Zita Mary Vetter (nee Tegenkamp) announce her passing on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current, SK. 

Zita was born in Humboldt, SK, she lived in and attended school in Bruno, SK. In 1973 she married Ron Vetter and shortly thereafter moved to Delisle, SK where they owned and operated the Delisle Hotel for over 40 years. Her battle with COPD did not diminish the courage, fortitude, and faith that made her a wonderful wife, sister, mother, and friend. 

Zita is lovingly remembered by her sons and their families, Sheldon (Tanya) Vetter (Houston, TX), and their children, Spencer and Paul; Marvin (Michelle) Vetter (Red Cliff, AB), and their children, Desmond and Delrae; Myron (Robin) Vetter (Tompkins, SK), and stepson, Jordan; her sister, Genevieve Lindeman (North Battleford, SK), and her daughter, Carleen Richardson (Saskatoon, SK); and by her sister, Grace (Jim) Mulvihill (Calgary, AB).

Zita was predeceased by her husband, Ron Vetter; her grandson, Jonathan Vetter; her parents, Christine & Anthony “Tony” Tegenkamp; her sister, Annette Tegenkamp; her nephew, Colin Mertz; and by her brother-law, Joe Lindeman.

A Private Family Service will be held for Zita Vetter.
