Such a beautiful lady full of the joy of the Lord. We will miss her dearly but rejoice that she is praising her Savior all the day long in heaven. I count it a privilege and an honor to have known her. May God comfort you and give you fond memories in the days ahead.

Sorry to hear the news. Marrying into the Epp family I quickly grew to love and appreciate "uncle Henry and aunt Eiizabeth" as one of my own. The depth of friendship and love between the Epps and Derksens was evident to the "kids" and one can only rejpoce in the reunion going on in heaven... and one day we shall all join them. Love and prayers to the family.

I had the privilege of visiting Aunt Elizabeth, most recently in Aug. 2014 and, again, just a couple of weeks ago. Both were such sweet visits, with one of the most gentle people I know. We held hands as we "caught up" - those moments as well as the hugs & kisses are all treasured memories, as are the times I spent with your family as a child. I don't think we are ever ready to lose a parent/grandparent, so my heart goes out to all of you as this is a great loss on earth. Joy in heaven...

When I see the picture of your mom, I just want to wrap her in my arms for just one more hug and squeeze. I have known your mom for many years, but not until she moved into Riverview and I became her caregiver did I truly learn to love this wonderful lady you call 'mom'. My most special times with her were when one of us was hurting or had a family concern, and we would take time to pray about the situation. Whether it was her family or mine that we were interceding for, there were always tears running down our cheeks as we left our heavy burdens with the Lord.
When I heard she had gone to see Jesus, your dad, Connie, Jason and Brady, I couldn't help but give a fist pump!! That is exactly what she wanted and couldn't wait! I grieve with you but rejoice that she was packed and ready to go when God called her Home that morning and she couldn't have been more ready.
Thank you for sharing her with me these past few years. I love her and will miss her so much. We have lost one of the great prayer warriors of all times and Heaven has gained another beautiful Child of God. Love you guys!

The Derksens were our neighbors on the farm during the time our children were small. Diana and I appreciated their love and friendship, especially valuing their support to us after the birth of our daughter. Their contribution to our church and community have been long lasting. My sympathy to the family on the passing of Mrs. Derksen. I remember her as a loving, caring, gentle woman with a strong faith in God. May the memories bring comfort and peace to you as a family during these days and in the days ahead.
