When Dorothy shared the news that Elsie had gone home to be with her Heavenly Father I was happy for her. She had put in her"time" and could now receive the joys of heaven.the obituary was so well done. I always enjoyed my visits when I came to Herbert. She had many talents but will be remembered for the gift of playing the piano! May Gods Peace and Love be with you all who were fortunate to have her in your life. We always had the most wonderful visits with Elsie,we became such good friends, I will miss her,,she always had the biggest smile which I will never forget ,,she is now smiling in her new home with no pain

Though we lived far apart and the memories that we shared were always from visits that had years in between, every time I spoke to Grandma Elsie or visited with her, she made me feel like a little girl coming home to visit Grandma again. Every visit to her house was special. She'd always make sure we had lots of cinnamon buns to indulge in while we stayed at her place! I have fond memories of sitting in her living room listening to her play on her piano, always sounding beautiful. She played a song called Waterfall and told me that it was my grandpas favorite, and listening to her play it always made me feel connected to him too.
Your smile will be greatly missed by all your family and friends.
