I am so sorry for your loss. I wish I could have been there to honour the life of this amazing woman. I had no idea at age 5 my Sunday school teacher would become my hero and friend. I will miss the birthday cards and letters she sent regularly. I consider myself blessed that she chose to be a part of my life's journey.

Having now lived in Ontario longer than in Saskatchewan, I still realize the deep foundation those formative years on the prairies gave me. How I love memories of days like pig butchering, when Jesse would come over, along with other relatives, to ensure Mom and Dad had excellently prepared meat for the winter ahead!

Jesse was such a special lady. I have the fondest memories of her as I reflect on my growing up years as her neighbor. Jesse had many, many wonderful traits; the trait that seems to stand out the most was her kindness. Her generosity, thoughtfulness and compassion were abundantly evident. She was a real treasure!
I am thankful for having known Jesse; her example as a follower of Christ has been a real gift. She has been called home and is now rejoicing in the presence of her Saviour! I cannot think of a better place to be.
I want the families to know that they are in my prayers. A verse that I want to share is from Psalms 62:1-2: `My soul finds rest in God alone, my salvation comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will never bè shaken.

Our sincere condolences to the Family. You Mom has gone to be with Jesus and her family members who she missed so much.
