Dearest Uncle Joe, you have always been an inspiration to me and your smile and hugs were second to none! You had a magical way of making us feel like we were special and your eyes could always tell us when we could do better. Gramma was like that too. I know you are in a special place with a fully equipped workshop and inventing something that will bring a smile to all faces. Your memory is respected deeply and and we will all cherish our fond memories of you.

Dear Joyce and family,

Now, look, Gull Lake has lost an institution. That dusty little town had a genuine "nice guy" for a long, long while and now, he's gone. There will be a lot of people who will think of Joe for a long time to come, I'll be one of them. As you said, Joyce, we can imagine that Joe, Bob, Glad and a few others are sitting around some kitchen table somewhere, laughing, telling baseball stories and just enjoying each others' company. You know that you have our sympathy, that doesn't need saying, we just wish that we weren't 3 thousand miles away at a time like this. We will be in touch, thank you for sharing the old fart with all of us.

This man, my grandpa, with his heart of gold, was the most successful man I know... Why? He raised an amazing family that will always have love for one another, and will always stick together... Grandpa knew what was truly important in life. He will be missed and cherished forever.
Until we meet again...

Joe,
You have been and always will occupy a space in my heart. You are such a great example of a man, husband, father, grandfather and friend. Without you knowing, I looked up to you a great deal and always respected and admired your selflessness, love for others and support to so many. I hope I can be half the man you are. I will miss you. God bless you, Joyce and your family.

My Dearest Dad ... you were the best Father in the world! Your dedication to our family and your love for us was unwavering. You provided us with a stable loving home and we were always the centre of your life. I will never forget the cheezies and orange pop on the way home from town, the Tbone steak, the gravy gift under the tree, "do you own a comb" , the short fat one, and most recently your ticket to heaven. Those memories will remain in my heart and are my treasure. You treated us with compassion and fairness and above all... love. You and Mom taught us the importance of family and that is evident today in all of our families. It is with great sadness that we say "farewell" until we meet again. I know that you are soaring with the angels and our dearest Janey. You will be sorely missed but will forever be in my thoughts and prayers💖 I love you Dad💖💖💖
