It with a very heavy sad heart that I express my sadness on hearing of Ken's passing and share that my thoughts go out Evelyn and all of the family. I knew Ken from the start of my working life with Copracan and developed a great working relationship with Ken and his Swift Machine business, which grew into a professional friendship over the years. Ken dopped in a couple times when ever he was in the BC, lower mainland area, visiting Evelyn's parents in Langley. He was a mentor to me and we had many "life" conversations as my family started and grew. I do feel imense sadness how his last few years were robbed of him and his family to enjoy the foundations he worked so hard to build for them all. My thoughts are with all of you. Sheila MacDonald

Dear Evelyn, Melynda, Cheri, Kevin and families,
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time of Ken's passing. He is no longer suffering but is in the presence of his Lord and Savior. It was so nice to spend the day with both of you this fall. We will always cherish our 40+ years of friendship. We always enjoyed getting together in Calgary or Swift Currennt for breakfast at your favorite places. I will always remember Ken for his dedication to Christian Service Brigade and our many campouts together. As you reflect on Ken's life, may you keep these precious memories in your heart. Evelyn, you were always so strong during this difficult journey. We know that God will give you the strength and peace to continue on in the coming days and months.
Love,
Sandi and Bill

It is with such sadness To know we will never hear his laugh again or just his general goofiness,or never to sure what he would say next. Our thoughts are with you at this time and to let you know we are here if you need someone to talk to.
Love always Doug, Colleen and Tara.

Evelyn,
My sincerest condolences to you, Lyndy, Cheri and Kevin in your loss. I have many happy memories of time spent with you and Ken, especially as young families together in Calgary. Ken's sense of humour is the first thing I think of when he comes to mind, and that twinkle in his eye when he was teasing, which seems to me was often! I know that your grief is tempered by your faith in God, and your knowledge that Ken is safe in the arms of his Saviour. Blessings to you all. Carol

Evelyn and Family
My deepest sympathy in the loss of Ken. He had a large "presence" and will be missed by everyone who knew him. My fondest memory was going for a ride in his jeep, no doors/roof, over the hills close to "green acres". God bless you all for the care you gave to Ken.

Evelyn and family,

So sorry about Ken ...... Will Miss his crazy antics and his infectious laugh....most times you didnt know whether to hug or smack him.........I am thinking about you and your kids and hope that you take time to just hold each other and think of better days.....we went through the same thing and what helped us most was a lot of praying and taking time to breathe....and of course remembering..... lots of love Denise and Family

Evelyn and family:
I was saddened to hear of Ken's departure from us, but was happy that his struggle is now over. He was always a real nut and always full of wise cracks. I remember his love for grape jam and toast at coffee row. There was always a pile of empty jam containers on his plate when we left.
I know how hard it was for him and his family the past few years. I hope you now find comfort knowing that his difficult times are over. Please find comfort and peace this week as you prepare for the celebration of his life on Thursday.
