No doubt you'll be getting several messages like this one. I took piano lessons from your mother and learned a lot from her. What she taught me most of all was how to let my feelings shine through the music. Thanks to you for sharing her with me and all the other students who benefited from her teaching.

To all of Lexie's ( & Bert's ) Girls & your families,
May all the great memories of happy times together warm your hearts & help heal the sadness you now feel. She was a great Lady with a beautiful smile. As well as her musical talent she also baked great "shortbread cookies "😋 that she would leave for me the few times I babysat you. She will be missed by many. Blessings to all.
Sincerely Millie Allsen

My condolences to the family. Lexie was a true inspiration to me. She was a terrific music teacher, choir director, and neighbor. She had a talent beyond words. Thinking of you all and so glad dad is going back to celebrate your amazing mom. I know there will be great music and yes in a way the music has ended. But as one who was greatly influenced by her I will do my best to ensure it lives on! I never sing Wonderful World without thinking of her and Bert. Take care. A hard year for you.

My thoughts and prayers to Michelle, Marla, Marcie, Melanie and families. Lexie and Bert "played" such a huge role in so many of our lives. You can be truly proud of them! They changed the lives of many young folk and brought pleasure to all who had the opportunity to hear and watch them perform. I have many fond memories of piano lessons and recitals (although, I did get reprimanded a few times for not practicing enough) and going to band concerts with my brothers. All in all, many great memories! Know that your mom and dad are back together and will have heaven rocking in no time. Gone but never ever forgotten. Love yas and big hugs.

Lexie, you have given so much time and pleasure to others with your musical talent. I am so sorry that your idea for a 2-piano concert never came to fruition. What fun we would have had! As one of your friends has said, you are probably playing with Bert and entertaining where you are. Condolences to your family.

Sincerely, Joan Williamson

I was very surprised and saddened to hear of Lexie's passing. It was just a few weeks ago that we had a nice visit in the store. Lexie was so generous in sharing her talents with everyone. Her music and vibrant personality will be missed but Bert, Wally and Doug will be glad to see her as they probably need a good "tuning in"! My sympathies to you all and know that the both Lexie and Bert have left a legacy you can be extremely proud of.

Were so sad to hear that Lexie passed away. She and Bert were always very special to our family and we appreciated the cards and good wishes we received from her since we arrived in Toronto. She will live on in the music she shared so generously with everyone and will once again be accompanying Bert as they play the oldies in heaven! Sending love and prayers as you celebrate her life on Thurs. Would certainly be there if we could but are still in Toronto as we wait for Glen to be well enough to go back home. Thinking of you all.

it was with great sadness that I heard of lexies passing
all I could think about is that she is with the love of her life, sitting playing the piano and bert playing the horn and all of their friends who have gone before them dancing up a storm and singing the old familiar tunes
my deepest sympathy to all of you
