Rudolf Gartz

Rudolf Freidrich Carl Gartz passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015, at home on the family farm, with his family by his side.

Rudolf leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Katharina (Hildebrand); his children, Gail (Robert) Shaw, Darwin Gartz, Faye (Greg) Lendrum; his grandchildren, Devon Shaw, Levi Shaw, Bailey Lendrum, Brayden Lendrum, Devon (Sam Bray), Levi (Teya Kuntz); his great-granddaughter, Myla Kuntz; a sister, Antolena Ruf; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, August & Olga (Kuhn) Gartz; his sisters, Clara (Gus) Janke, Hulda (Pete) Gerbrandt, Olga (Alex) Heffley, Ruth (Rudy) Sowiak; and by a brother-in-law, William Ruf.

The Graveside Service for Mr. Rudolf Gartz of the Prairie View district will take place on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 11:00 am from the Peace Lutheran Church Cemetery near Prairie View with Pastor Eugene Mau and Pastor Manfred Kurschner officiating.

Friends and relatives are invited to join the family for a luncheon at the Peace Lutheran Church immediately following the Service.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 8:00 pm from the Swift Current Funeral Chapel.

In Rudolf’s honor, donations to the Peace Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund or to the Donor’s Choice would be appreciated by the family.
