To the family of Viola Dickie,
I wish to extend sympathy to you all on the passing of your dear Mom, Grandma and mother in law!
My Mom, Juverna Marken was in a room just down the hall from your Mom at the Palliser. Your Mom always had a nice smile for us when we would meet her in the hallway.. I never knew which house she was moved to at the Meadows.

I loved this Lady almost as much as Mom! She took special care of me and yes - always a smile and Good Advice! 😉

My condolences to you and yours. Your mothers smile was always one of my favourite. Her whole face lit up in joy at seeing you once again. Her soft, gentle hugs, so comforting. I know deeply that over the years; her love and comfort of my Dad in his early life, mattered so very much to him. I get to hear the stories he tells over and over again! Uncle Joe was his mentor and he admired him so much. Thank you for asking Dad to usher for you. He is very honoured. Sorry I can't be with you today.

Judy and Rod You know how much our whole family loved your mom and her sweet loving kindness and friendship to our family over the years. We still miss the many fun times we shared with you all especially at Christmas. I am remembering with tears and laughter the many adventures and high jinks of our mothers. They were a perfect pair for each other -beautiful, kind and loving friends devoted wives,mothers and grandmothers/ Take care.

I am so sorry to read of Vi's passing tonight. She was a sweet lady with a continuous smile. It seems like I had a little visit with her last week but sometimes time gets away on me. Anytime is difficult to lose someone we love but special "family" occasions seem to be extra tough. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of adjustment.
